Our journey as designers began over 8 years ago at a home staging company. While that company has sadly closed, we were determined to continue our work fueled by our passion for interiors and the industry. With a shared love for interior design, we decided to take the leap and open our own small business, dedicated to transforming spaces and creating inspiring environments for our clients.

If you are wondering where our name “MUD” comes from, it is short for Modern Unrefined Design. Our studio name reflects the core principles and values that guide our design philosophy. MODERN signifies our commitment to utilizing contemporary techniques and state of the art technology to craft and shape spaces that are not only reflective of current trends but ensure functionality.

The term UNREFINED embodies our deep-rooted passion for hunting, thrifting, and curating unique pieces that add character and individuality to each project. We take pride in incorporating organic, unrefined materials that infuse warmth and a sense of authenticity into our spaces, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and distinctive.

Lastly, DESIGN encapsulates our expertise and background in various design principles such as graphic and fashion design. Drawing from our diverse experiences and skills in the design industry, we bring a wealth of creativity, knowledge, and a keen eye for aesthetics to every project we undertake.
